Audio-Technica's System 20 PRO represents a significant leap forward in 2.4 GHz wireless microphone technology, building upon the success of their System 10 PRO with enhanced scalability and self-managing capabilities. This plug-and-play system eliminates the traditional headaches associated with wireless microphone deployment, including frequency coordination, complex intermodulation calculations, and remote antenna cabling requirements.

The ATW-R1440 receiver forms the heart of this versatile system, capable of handling up to four transmitters while offering flexible installation options. Receiver units can operate while docked in their half-rack chassis or be positioned remotely up to 328 feet away using standard Ethernet cable. For larger installations, up to five chassis can be linked together using the supplied RJ12 cable, creating a robust multichannel system supporting up to 20 simultaneous channels. Users can select between Standard mode for minimal latency with 10 channels, or HD mode to maximise channel count with all 20 channels active.

Management and setup are streamlined through Audio-Technica's Wireless Manager software, which provides centralised control over multiple UHF, 2.4 GHz and DECT wireless systems from a single interface. The system includes AES128 encryption as standard for secure operation, while transmitters come pre-paired and ready for immediate use with all-day battery performance on a full charge.
