The KeyStep Pro breaks new ground as the sequencer that finally bridges the gap between keyboard performance and comprehensive sequencing power. This compact controller combines a responsive 37-note keyboard with velocity sensitivity and aftertouch alongside four independent sequencers, making it the perfect command centre for modular rigs, hardware synths, and software studios. The expressive keyboard puts musical articulation at your fingertips, whilst the intuitive design removes barriers between inspiration and creation.
Built for both studio work and live performance, the KeyStep Pro offers exceptional versatility with 16 patterns per track and sequences extending up to 64 steps, each capable of holding 16 notes per step. The ability to link up to 16 patterns creates complete songs or set sections, whilst Scene snapshots allow instant switching between sequence sets. Real-time recording capabilities, multi-mode arpeggiator, and randomness features provide spontaneous creative opportunities, all clearly visible through crisp OLED displays and LED-illuminated controls that work perfectly in low-light environments.
Connectivity options are comprehensive, featuring four CV, Gate and Mod outputs, eight dedicated drum Gate outputs, MIDI in/out, USB connectivity, and sustain pedal input. This extensive I/O capability allows seamless integration of modular gear, vintage synthesisers, and software instruments. The 24-part drum sequencer with polyrhythm functionality, scale quantisation, and dedicated Control mode for parameter manipulation make the KeyStep Pro equally suited to hardware-based setups and computer-based production workflows.
