The KeyLab mk3 stands as the ultimate MIDI controller for serious musicians who demand professional-grade control over their creative workflow. Built for intermediate and advanced producers, this fully-featured controller integrates seamlessly into any studio or live setup with its comprehensive DAW integration, advanced performance capabilities, and premium wood and aluminium construction that ensures both durability and professional reliability.
What sets the KeyLab mk3 apart is its sophisticated integration technology, utilising MCU and HUI protocols alongside smart mapping capabilities that work flawlessly with major DAWs and Arturia software. The enhanced keybed features improved balance, weighting, and spring tension for superior control over synth and piano sounds, while the new 480x320px full-colour display with 8 contextual buttons provides intuitive navigation and complete customisation options directly from the unit.
Creative musicians will appreciate the innovative Scale, Arpeggiator, and Chord modes that open up new compositional possibilities, complemented by touch-sensitive controls including nine 360° rotary potentiometers and nine precision faders. The updated pad section offers 4 banks of 12 pads for versatile finger drumming and clip launching, making it equally powerful in studio production and live performance scenarios.
The KeyLab mk3 comes complete with an extensive software bundle including Analog Lab Pro, Mini V, Piano V, Augmented Strings, Rev PLATE-140, Ableton Live Lite, NI The Gentleman, Loopcloud, and Melodics, providing everything needed to start creating professional music straight out of the box.
The KeyLab mk3 receives a meaningful firmware update with version 1.5, bringing workflow refinements across performance and production contexts. MainStage integration now surfaces patch details and key settings directly on the controller, keeping the live–show experience uninterrupted. Analog Lab navigation has been reworked for smoother, more intuitive browsing from the hardware itself, with updated visual icons that accelerate sound selection at a glance. Refreshed GUI elements improve on–device readability throughout, and a new split visualisation simplifies keyboard separation when building split parts and performance setups.
