ART Pro Audio CLEANBox Pro Dual Channel Level Converter

Professional audio engineers and musicians know that balanced connections are the gold standard for pristine signal transmission, and the CLEANBoxPro makes this conversion seamless in both directions. This rugged, compact unit houses two independent conversion channels that handle the critical task of interfacing between consumer and professional audio equipment whilst maintaining signal integrity.

The first section transforms consumer-level unbalanced signals into professional line-level balanced outputs. Two RCA jack inputs work alongside a stereo mini-phone jack input (connected in parallel) to feed balanced signals through dual XLR male connectors. This configuration proves invaluable when connecting home audio gear to professional mixing desks or recording interfaces.

Working in reverse, the second section accepts line-level balanced input signals via two XLR female jacks and converts them to consumer unbalanced outputs. These signals feed both RCA jacks and a stereo mini-phone jack connected in parallel, making it simple to connect professional equipment to home stereo systems or portable devices.

Both conversion sections feature independent stereo level controls for precise signal optimisation, whilst an LED indicator confirms power status. The balanced line system’s superior immunity to external electrical noise and hum makes it particularly beneficial for long cable runs, ensuring your audio remains clean and professional throughout the signal chain.
