Aquila 165U-2 Thunderbrown 4-String Bass Ukulele Set - GDAE Tuning

The Aquila Thunderbrown 4-String Bass Ukulele Set (GDAE) represents a breakthrough in string technology, solving the persistent problem of the "sausaging effect" that plagues traditional elastomer strings. These innovative strings maintain their diameter consistency even when pulled by hand, ensuring reliable performance session after session. Crafted from plant-derived bio-elastomers, they combine environmental responsibility with exceptional durability.

The secret to their superior acoustic balance lies in the strategic use of micronised copper in varying amounts across each string in the set. This careful engineering produces a powerful, resonant sound that works beautifully with both traditional and solid top bass ukuleles, even without amplification. The strings' small diameter design promotes smooth finger movement across the fretboard, making complex passages more manageable.

What sets the Thunderbrown series apart from other Aquila models is their increased tension, which provides enhanced stability and improved responsiveness during play. This makes them suitable for players at any skill level who demand consistent tonal clarity and reliable performance from their instrument.
