Aquarian TA1Tone-Tab Drumkit Tools

Aquarian's t-TAB is a drumhead tone modifier that lets players adjust attack, resonance, and decay without replacing heads or waiting for a tech. The removable plastic tabs stick with reusable adhesive, repositioning instantly across batter or resonant heads to target specific frequencies and control ring–out in any room or playing situation.

Each pack includes five tabs–three clear and two coated–each measuring 3 inches with a slight radius for secure placement around the drum circumference. The 10mil plastic construction withstands direct playing while staying thin enough to dampen without deadening tone. Layer multiple tabs for more pronounced frequency control, or use the included storage sheet to swap configurations in real time during gigs or sessions.

Drum techs have long modified head vibration to reshape sound character; the t-TAB formalises this approach for any player. Position tabs to focus frequencies, reduce decay length, or sharpen attack–the same adjustments that come from head choice or tuning, now achievable through external placement. Because tabs reposition without residue, experimenting with mic placement and room acoustics becomes fast and reversible.
