The Antelope Audio Discrete 8 Oryx Synergy Core is a powerful 26x38 USB‐C audio interface designed for producers, engineers and bands who need pristine multichannel recording, real‐time processing and hybrid‐ready routing in a single rackmount unit.

At its core, the Discrete 8 Oryx features Antelope's latest AD/DA converters with up to 130 dB of dynamic range, combined with fourth‐generation 64‐bit AFC clocking for exceptional stereo imaging, depth and detail. Eight discrete Class‐A preamps, built with six‐transistor circuitry inspired by legendary console designs, deliver up to 75 dB of gain, ultra‐low noise and transparent capture of vocals, instruments and acoustic sources.

With 26 inputs and 38 outputs available simultaneously, including eight mic/line preamps, eight DC‐coupled line outputs, ADAT, S/PDIF, reamp outputs, monitor outs and four independent headphone outs, the Discrete 8 Oryx acts as a versatile hub for multi‐instrument sessions and hybrid studio setups. A redesigned virtual patch‐bay enables effortless drag‐and‐drop routing across all analog and digital ports, while onboard talkback, footswitch control and dedicated speaker/monitor functions streamline session workflow.

The interface includes advanced monitoring features such as four premium headphone outputs, per‐musician low‐latency mixers and Antelope's X‐Feed system, which emulates speaker‐like stereo imaging in headphones. Built‐in headphone calibration profiles and a two‐band EQ allow for precise and customisable monitoring.
