The Ampeg Portaflex PF-115HE delivers classic flip-top aesthetics with modern power handling in a single-driver configuration that punches well beyond expectations. Rated at 450 watts into 8 ohms, this bass enclosure pairs a custom-voiced 15" Eminence® ceramic speaker with a switchable compression driver to cover everything from deep subsonic fundamentals to articulate high-frequency detail. Wrapped in vintage-inspired black-diamond tolex with authentic B-15 grille cloth, it channels the look and spirit of Ampeg's legendary portable rigs while delivering the output and reliability demanded by today's working bass players.

The cabinet's shelf-ported design combines extensive internal bracing with refined low-frequency tuning to produce tight, controlled bottom end without flabbiness or overhang. A 1" high-frequency compression driver includes an L-pad attenuator, letting players dial in just the right amount of top-end clarity or roll it off completely for pure vintage warmth. Integrated side handles and removable casters make load-in and positioning straightforward, whether stacking with a PF-50T head for the complete flip-top experience or pairing with any 8-ohm-compatible amplifier. The custom Eminence driver uses a ceramic magnet structure for high efficiency and consistent response across the frequency spectrum.
