The GX4816 stands as a powerhouse 96kHz audio expander designed to dramatically increase input capacity for professional mixing environments. This versatile unit serves as a high-input-count remote expansion solution for SQ, Avantis and dLive mixing systems, whilst also supporting the AHM-64 audio matrix processor with exceptional audio quality.

At its core, the GX4816 houses 48 dLive mic preamps, each featuring independent Phantom Power LED indicators for clear visual monitoring. The unit also incorporates 16 XLR line outputs, providing comprehensive I/O capabilities for demanding audio applications. Two DX ports enable connection to up to four DX Expanders, allowing for extensive further expansion of input and output options.

Connectivity remains refreshingly straightforward with the GX4816 requiring only a single Cat5e cable connection to an SLink socket on SQ, Avantis or AHM-64 systems, or to a gigaACE audio network card when used with dLive systems. The DX2 socket opens up possibilities for ME Personal Mixing System integration when paired with SQ or Avantis consoles, with all DX Expander and ME Personal Mixing System connections also utilising standard Cat5e cabling.
