Built for the demands of professional audio environments, the DX168 stands as a robust 96kHz portable expander that seamlessly integrates with dLive, Avantis, SQ systems, and the AHM-64 audio matrix processor. This versatile unit provides essential remote I/O expansion with 16 high-quality mic preamps, each equipped with independent Phantom Power LED indicators, alongside 8 XLR line outputs for comprehensive signal management.
Connectivity is streamlined through a single Cat5e cable connection to your dLive Surface, MixRack, SQ mixer, Avantis mixer, or upstream DX168 via a secure EtherCon port. The inclusion of a second locking EtherCon port ensures redundant connection capabilities with compatible hardware, whilst also enabling daisy-chain configurations to downstream DX168 units for expanded remote I/O capacity.
The DX168’s construction prioritises durability and practicality, featuring hard-wearing rubber bumpers that allow direct stage floor placement during live performances. At just 4.8kg with an integrated carry handle, this expander offers genuine portability for rental companies, educational institutions, houses of worship, and diverse professional applications. For permanent installations, an optional 4U rack mounting kit accommodates standard 19-inch rack systems.
