Allen & Heath DT168 16 In / 8 Out 96kHz Dante Expander

Professional audio engineers know that reliable, high-quality preamps can make or break a live performance, and the DT168 stagebox delivers exactly that with 16 microphone preamps and 8 line outputs in a rugged, portable design. Built for the demands of live sound, this unit features protective rubber bumpers and an integrated handle, making it perfect for stage deployment or as an expansion unit within existing SQ, Avantis, AHM-64, or dLive Dante networks.

At the heart of the DT168 are Allen & Heath’s renowned preamps, paired with 96kHz converters that ensure exceptional sound quality through the Dante network. The unit includes both Primary and Secondary ports with secure EtherCon connectors, allowing for daisy-chain configurations or redundant connections to maintain signal integrity during critical performances.

System expansion capabilities are impressive, with up to 16 DT168 units able to integrate into AHM-64, SQ, Avantis, or dLive systems when fitted with appropriate SQ Dante or dLive 96kHz Dante cards. The included DT Preamp Control software provides comprehensive remote control over multiple DT expanders and opens up compatibility with third-party Dante-equipped digital mixers and sound management systems, making this a versatile addition to any professional audio setup.
