Akai MPK Mini Plus 37-Key Compact Keyboard & Pad Controller

The MPK Mini Plus transforms your creative workflow with a powerhouse of performance features packed into a compact 3-octave controller that bridges the gap between studio production and live performance. This next-generation MIDI controller features 37 mini keys with the advanced Gen 2 Dynamic Keybed, delivering exceptional velocity response and note dynamics across three full octaves. Musicians can explore two-handed chords, intricate arpeggiation, and expansive soundscapes with professional-grade playability that rivals full-sized keyboards.

Creative expression reaches new heights with the integrated polyphonic 2-track step/live sequencer, capturing melodic patterns and drum sequences on the fly with 8 notes of polyphony per step. The 8 velocity-sensitive RGB-backlit MPC drum pads serve as the rhythmic foundation, whilst 8 assignable 360-degree rotary encoders provide precise control over filters, automation, and effects parameters. Enhanced performance modes including Chords Mode and Scales Mode with 15 scale settings simplify complex musical arrangements, allowing single-key triggering of multiple notes and inversions.

Professional connectivity options ensure seamless integration with any studio setup, featuring USB Type-B, dual MIDI DIN ports, CV/Gate outputs, and sync I/O for controlling Eurorack and modular synthesisers. The dedicated pitch bend and modulation wheels, combined with the assignable X/Y joystick controller, deliver expressive performance capabilities that bring keyboard parts to life. Transport controls provide direct DAW integration, whilst NKS technology enables seamless control of over 1,800 plugins including Native Instruments Komplete, with every purchase including custom Komplete 15 Select software worth over $1,000.
