For seamless DAW integration, dedicated transport controls, scene launch buttons, and backlit mode buttons provide comprehensive access to Ableton Live’s functions whilst maintaining your creative flow.
The controller’s standalone functionality sets it apart from conventional MIDI controllers, offering DAW-less operation through 8x CV/Gate outputs and MIDI connectivity via mini TRS jacks. This enables direct control of synthesisers, Eurorack modules, drum machines, and other hardware, with the included APC Project Editor Software allowing complete customisation of layouts and presets. The package includes an extensive collection of Air Instruments and Sonivox plugins, plus 1GB of loops and drum samples from Sampletools by CR2 Records, providing immediate creative resources alongside the hardware.
