Akai APC Mini mk2 Compact Ableton Live Controller

The APC Mini mk2 redefines compact music production with its brilliant 64 RGB-backlit pads that provide dynamic control over your Ableton Live sessions. This ultimate clip launching controller combines an efficient footprint with powerful functionality, making it perfect for creative looping, remixing, and experimentation both in the studio and on stage. The scrollable RGB-enabled pad matrix shines boldly through any environment, giving you confident control to launch and activate loops, instruments, vocals, and more during your most inspired creative moments.

At the heart of the APC Mini mk2 lies its customisable 8x8 grid of RGB-backlit pads that accurately reflect clips from your Ableton Live Session, ensuring your largest projects remain within easy reach. You can trigger individual loops, samples, and melodies or launch entire scenes for imaginative and inspirational music creation performances. The controller features 9 faders that provide serious hands-on control for adjusting volume, pan, insert effect sends and more, allowing you to tweak reverbs, sweep filters, or write automation that brings your music to life.

Advanced functionality includes Device Mode, where faders automatically map to the eight Macro Controls of Ableton Live’s selected device, enabling you to control multiple parameters with one fader for innovative sound generation. Soft Keys provide easy access to Solo, Mute, Stop and Record arm functions, while Drum Mode offers seamless integration with Ableton’s Drum Rack by isolating a 4x4 quadrant for drum control whilst maintaining assignable remaining pads. The Smart Scale View and Notes Mode complete the package, providing instant visual feedback for key and scale changes while ensuring pitch-perfect musical performances without wrong notes.
