The controller's seamless integration with Ableton Live creates an intuitive workflow that brings your original melodies, chord structures and layered harmonic ideas to life with remarkable precision.

At the core of the APC Key 25 mk2 are 40 brilliant RGB-backlit pads arranged in a customizable 5x8 grid that provides accurate visual feedback of your Ableton Live session clips. These responsive pads allow you to trigger loops, samples, scenes and melodies with confidence, while the scrollable RGB-enabled matrix ensures clear visibility in any lighting condition. The controller's 25-key Gen 2 Dynamic Keybed offers exceptional touch sensitivity for playing chords, arpeggios, solos and soundscapes, with octave up/down buttons expanding your note range and a dedicated sustain button adding musical dimension to your performances.

Professional control comes through eight endless 360-degree knobs that provide smooth, intuitive adjustment of volume, pan, insert effect sends and more. In Device Mode, these knobs automatically map to Ableton Live's eight Macro Controls for the selected device, giving you the power to control multiple parameters simultaneously and create innovative sounds. Additional features include soft keys for solo, mute, stop and record arm functions, plus dedicated transport controls that help you capture ideas quickly and review your work instantly, making the APC Key 25 mk2 a comprehensive solution for modern music production.
