The AirTurn BT500S Series brings professional-grade foot control to musicians and content creators who demand hands-free operation without compromising on durability. This innovative pedal merges the proven performance of the classic BT200 series with the familiar stompbox design that fits seamlessly onto any existing pedalboard. Built with industrial-grade steel switches and encased in a nearly indestructible polymer blend, the BT500S maintains strong radio signal transmission while withstanding the rigours of regular gigging and studio use.
Through the free AirTurn Manager app, users can assign custom hotkeys and keyboard shortcuts for comprehensive recording and editing control. Musicians can arm tracks, control recording and playback, toggle metronomes, execute undo commands, and manage solo/mute functions — essentially any function available through computer keyboard commands. The pedal also supports MIDI control for DMX lighting fixtures, allowing performers to synchronise lighting changes with their performance via Bluetooth connectivity.
The versatility extends beyond music production, with programmable shortcuts available for applications including Word, Excel, PC games, and various DAWs. The AirTurn Manager app is compatible with Mac, iOS and Android platforms through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, though PC users must initially connect through a phone or tablet for configuration. Additionally, the macro functionality allows users to assign repetitive text phrases, code lines, or command sequences to individual switches, making it an invaluable tool for streamlining workflow across multiple applications.
