Titanium-plated PEN dynamic drivers with 150 ohm impedance form the core of these open-back reference headphones from ADAM Audio, designed specifically for mixing and mastering where accurate tonal representation outweighs any coloured response. The 40mm neodymium-magnet drivers achieve a frequency range from 9Hz to 40kHz with total harmonic distortion staying below 0.05% at 1kHz and 100dB SPL. Maximum output reaches 113dB SPL, providing ample room before clipping. Weighing just 302g without cables, the spring steel headband features a central crown cutout to distribute pressure evenly across extended studio sessions.

A recessed button inside the left earcup, activated with the included metal pin, switches between standard and Hi-Fi modes by splitting the common ground connection. This allows the 3-metre double-entry cable with 4.4mm Pentaconn termination to deliver balanced audio from differential amplifiers when required, then returns to single-entry configuration with another press. The coiled 1.3-metre studio cable ends in a 3.5mm TRS plug, with a 6.3mm adapter provided for larger studio outputs. CNC-machined anodised aluminium yokes support circumaural earcups that fold flat, while angled drivers sit behind woven steel mesh in the open-back housing.

Included software handles both calibration and referencing workflows directly. The Headphone Utility plug-in applies ADAM Audio headphone calibration curves with adjustable crossfeed to translate loudspeaker mixes more accurately, while ListenHub manages streaming reference tracks with matched loudness and mono, sides, and balance checking. On macOS systems, the plug-in operates inside ListenHub to calibrate system-wide audio output. Magnetic soft cloth and faux leather memory foam earpads arrive in the box alongside a hardshell case, with all cables, pads, and headband padding designed as replaceable components.
