The DXR12mk3 is a two-way, bi-amped powered loudspeaker engineered to balance portability against serious output capability. Yamaha's 134 dB SPL delivery, paired with a 12" low-frequency driver and 1.75" compression horn, makes this compact cabinet suited to front-of-house duties, floor monitoring, and stage-side fill applications. The asymmetrical, lightweight injection-moulded enclosure prioritises transport and setup speed without sacrificing acoustic integrity or build quality.

The 2000 W Class-D amplifier drives both drivers with precision tuning via FIR-X™ filtering and Drive Motion Calibration™, which corrects low-frequency motion for linear response and reliability across the audio spectrum. DSP modes tailored to FOH/MAIN and MONITOR arrangements include an automatic vertical and horizontal positioning function, reducing setup guesswork. Bluetooth® audio streaming and the dedicated D-Remote app (iOS and Android) enable wireless control and recalibration on the fly. An intelligent feedback suppressor actively manages problematic frequencies, whilst optimised port positioning minimises standing-wave distortion. Dual-angle pole sockets accommodate 0° and –7° downtilt configurations, and optional rigging points support eyebolt suspension for elevated deployment.
